This sleepy little ginger cat is the dish itself — curled up on a textured “rug” and shaped to hold rings or other tiny pieces you want to keep in one spot. I built it using white clay, painted it with underglazes, and finished it with a glossy clear glaze. It went through two firings in the kiln, which gives the colours their depth and keeps everything durable. The usable inner area is about 1.6”×1.6” (4×4 cm), and the full piece with the rug measures roughly 3.5”×3.5” (9×9 cm). It’s small, cozy, and very much a one-of-a-kind piece.
